This museum complex comprises Samudera Museum Phase I – Flor de la Mar (Replica Ship), Samudera Museum Phase II, Royal Malaysian Navy Museum and KD Sri Terengganu ship.

Samudera Museum Phase I

This museum is basically the Flor de la Mar replica ship that was built in 1990 and officiated by Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, the former Prime Minister on 13 June 1994. The museum is located at Jalan Quayside near the mouth of the Melaka River. The Flor de la Mar is 34 meters high and 8 meters wide. The museum focuses on the maritime history of Melaka and the golden age of the Melaka sultanate as the Emporium of the East.

Samudera Museum Phase II
This museum is housed in the old Guthrie building located next to the Flor de Lamar replica ship. This museum displays themes such as oceanic world, sea exploration, treasures from the deep and World Wildlife exhibition.
